Journal Entry 22 --- preparing for the elements.
Just to show you how important it is to me, during the ice storm I had Joe Fontenot, a fellow comedian, help push me down my walk way to his car in a wooden rocking chair just so I could get to the last show of the week.You can see the pictures below!!!
If I can loose all pride in myself to slide down a walk way in a fucking wooden chair, damn it, I think you can make it out to see some of the best comedians in the NW compete to be king of the hill. Okay, well at least come out and root me on. A list of the venues that I'll be performing at this week are listed below, so please come on out to as many as you can make it to and bring as many people as you can. And for Christ sake, come and say hello. That is just as important is showing up. Thanks again, I'll also keep you all updated on the out come and I hope to see you at the games.
Here I am preparing for the elements out side just so I can get to the last show of prelims week 2. There was an ice storm that hit Portland, and well ice and being crippled DO NOT MIX!. So comedian Joe Fontenot is helping put socks over my my shit ass feet (because that apparently helps with traction) and throw away any self respect I ever had so he then can push me down my walk way in a fucking wooded rocking chair to his car because the nice folks that run my apartment complex didn't bother rock-salting the walk way. Really, why would they do that for a gimp when it's just funnier to see to me fall and bust my knees.
My boy Charlier is wondering what he did wrong in his previous life that would cause him to be placed with this family of sadness. I'm sure it was something along the lines of kicking a pregnant lady in the gut. 
See, that is how important it is for me to get to a show. I hope you can make it out this week too. Here is the listing of venues:
